Heswall sits in CH60 and CH61 on the western side of the Wirral, looking out over the Dee estuary toward the Flintshire hills. It is the premium address of the peninsula, and the property stock along Telegraph Road, Oldfield Road and the lanes off Milner Road runs to large 1930s detached, some inter-war Arts and Crafts, and post-war executive housing on the quieter closes.

The roofing pattern here is almost entirely concrete interlocking tile from the 1930s through to the 1960s builds, with Marley Monarchs and similar profiles dominating the original specifications. Those tiles are at or past the end of their serviceable life on the older properties, and the replacement demand is high.
